         she moved from valley stream on to cherry lane in        
         "medford" long island to live with her sister        
         where we attended oregon avenue jnr. high together        
         in 1979. she was in the 7th grade and i was in the        
         8th grade. we met and "truthfully" fell in love.        
         1 year later we were pryed apart. debbie crawford        
         moved back to valley stream to be with her parents        
         . on several occasions prior to us unwillingly        
         parting we held one another, usually cried and        
         promised to seek one another one day. she told me        
         all she could about valley stream and her home.         
         i know she may have seeked me too but i myself        
         has relocated a feiw years since with my parents        
         as well. i know what this all may sound like to        
         you but she lies in my mind always there still so        
         very fresh it hurts sometimes. i miss her so much.        
         i am just keeping my word to her in reuniteing        
         one day. i have recently unsuccefully seeked to        
         make contact with debbie useing the assistance of        
         national people locator services. within these        
         failed attempts i have been unable to provide        
         information such as an adress dateing back no        
         further than 10 years, an exact date of birth or        
         the highschool in valley stream she would have         
         graduated from in 1984. primarily i am also trying        
         to locate someone in valley stream that may have        
         yearbooks from any one of the highschools for the        
         graduateing classes of 1984 or even possibly a         
         jnr.high yearbook she may be found in. this will        
         tell me which valley stream high she attended and        
         "may be able to lead me to a college or a future        
         adress" the jnr. high her school records where        
         transfered back to in valley stream are also        
         unknown to me. below i will leave a discription of        
         what i know. it's not much but it may help you        
         determine if you can help me. i do not know the         
         correct spelling of her first name.

message: I am searching for a relative, William "Billy" Etter, former address not known, Mother, Louise, died in Feb. of 1963 (approx 26th), the services were done by The Moore Funeral Home the remains were shipped to Liverpool, NY. Within a couple of years later, the father, Edgar, passed on the remains were not sent to Liverpool. At the time of these deaths, William "Billy" was 10 yrs. to mid-teens in age. I have no social security number to trace. The only action that I have taken was to write a long letter to The Moore Funeral Home about four weeks ago and as of 3/10, I have not received a response. I have no idea what school William attended. Friends have\ suggested that, due to his age at the time, he might have been adopted which would possibly mean a name-change however, the social security number would remain the same. I had a thought that a connection to William might be in the possible of any estate - even though William was very young I'm sure that some connection to him might have been made.Not knowing the street and number of his residence I am at a loss for providing the information however, the school must have some records or a clerk"s office in the local government.My relationship is through the maternal grandmother, Anna Gettmann Karveik, whose brother, J. George Gettmann was my maternal grandfather. I know that this case is unique since William was an only child as was his mother, Louise, and also his father, Edgar.Please assist and/or guide me in my search to find out his well-being and re-establish family and friends' connection. message: I lived in Valley Stream until I was 11 years old. I went to Wheeler Avenue kindergarten and to Holy Name of Mary School. I used to live at 110 E. Carpenter Street. I am curious about the neighborhood now. Is that home still there, and what does it look like? I was trying to remember more information about the house, i.e. year built, etc. but I cannot. I moved away from Valley Stream in 1972 - and there are still some things about it that I miss. I currently live in St. Paul, MN. I would love it if someone could email me and let me know if there are any pictures or sources of information other than here on the web, where I can see Valley Stream now. The last info I had on it was that anniversary book that was put out. I would love it if someone would get back to me, I have looked up some families I grew up with and they still live there. But I am sure their kids have moved away. Looking forward to hearing from someone.

Hi my name is Michael Marchesano and I used to live in Vallety Stream. I lived at 34 North Corona Ave. 1 block from the Valley Stream State Park. I am looking for a few friends that I grew up with from 1958 to 1961 when my family moved to Florida in May of 1961. I did come back for that summer and stayed at a friends house her name was Laura Hedler at that time. I believe she got married and her married name is/was Elisio. I stayed downstairs with her Sister Claudia and her family. The other friends were Paul Bookman, Al and Richie Mirelli, Alex Tramma, Mille McShery, Joan Mullins and Dolores Brown.
